For many years I worked as a Fashion Designer and Stylist and created many fashion collections for high street shops. I changed direction after meeting Luigi Amati, the Italian Sculptor residing in the Netherlands.  Luigi Amati worked with the famous Marino Marini, who is one of my favourite Sculptors.   Luigi Amati mentored and taught me for a number of years and I am indebted to him.  At the same time I also obtained more formal and classical education at the Academy Arendonk in Belgium.

Current inspirations for my work are Maillol, Rubens and Zadkine, as demonstrated by the different styles in my work from classic to figurative and abstract, creating  lines, forms and shadows.
